CAT | Spring / Summer 2010 Trends
Spring is here and summer is on its way which means it’s finally time to put the spring/summer 2010 trends into practise. Rather than buying anything that just happens to relate to the key trends this season you can simply update you wardrobe
with a few key investment pieces that’ll see you through till autumn.
Firstly update your wardrobe with some summer dresses – floral prints were all over the catwalks this season from the cute feminine styles at Luella to the floral print jackets at D&G, you can’t go wrong. Chiarafashion.co.uk has lots of cheap dresses to choose from so if you can’t decide on one you can always treat yourself to a few! A favourite is this yellow floral print dress:

White is a key colour this season and the flowers give the dress a nice girly touch. The bold floral print is strong enough on its own so don’t over accessorise – simply team with a denim jacket and gladiator sandals for the ultimate summer look. Chiarafashion.co.uk has a wide selection of summer dresses so you have lots to choose from, high street favourite Topshop also have some pretty dresses and don’t forget to check out Miss Selfridge’s range too!
For the transition of spring to summer you’re going to need some wardrobe basics to layer with your outfits just incase the weather catches you out. Jeggings are a wardrobe staple and essential for a casual spring look. There’s a wide range at chiarafashion.co.uk from acid wash jeggings for an 80s look:

To standard blue denim jeggings with jean stitch detailing:

Prices start from just £6.99 so grab a bargain pair quickly! You can wear your jeggings with tunic tops and dresses until the weather warms up and it’s time to get the legs out!
Finally don’t forget to grab a sexy dress for all those summer parties and BBQs. Denim is a strong spring/ summer trend – if you’re not keen on the double denim look then dabble with a simple dress to keep you up to date. We’ve found a lightweight denim dress at H&M with a simple v-neck design, or for something a bit more dressy check out Chiarafashion’s cute denim dress:

The style is quite short and flirty whilst the sweetheart neckline gives it a feminine twist. Style with a waist belt and some killer heels (or even clogs for a chanel inspired look!) and your sexy dress for summer is sorted.
